“O LORD my God, you are great; you are Clothed with splendor and majesty.
He wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent…
He makes the clouds his chariot and rides on the wings of the wind…
How many are Your works, O LORD! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.
There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond Number – living things both large and small.…” Psalm 104
Brighton artist Daniel Laurence Matthews trained as a sculptor at the cities renowned art college before establishing his home and garden furniture store, tucked away in the Artists Quarter along Brighton’s historic Kings Road Arches, where he continues to develop his fresh, imaginative style with it’s distinctive sense of peace and relaxation.
Located on the beach, he is aptly inspired by the ever changing vista of sea and sky and marine life is a favoured theme in depicting Gods beautiful creation. This is evident from the visual feasts that are displayed around the gallery, in the form of a stunning reef aquarium, full of vibrant fish and coral and a cascading tropical rock-pool water feature.
Discover this hidden gem of a store where you can enjoy a tranquil shopping experience, just yards away from the hectic city crowds, as you browse through a stylish selection of home and garden wares that ramble out onto the promenade, as well as viewing original artworks in the making.
